2023 Poll: Enang Describes Labour Party As APC Campaign Manager

Senator Ita Enang, a former special adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Niger Delta issues, has stated that he views the Labour Party as the All Progressive Congress' (APC) campaign manager.

Senator Ita Enang claimed during an appearance on Political Paradigm on Channels TV that the gains the Labour Party has achieved since entering the contest have served as a wake-up call for them. He claimed that they had been researching their competitors' campaign strategies and using them as inspiration to advance further in the race.

“Labour Party is like the campaign manager for APC. We stood up and were more aware as a result of their intrusions and the fire they brought. We observed them over time, noted what they were doing and saying in relation to the opinions of particular voters, and then stepped in to address those factors. And we were able to win again, retake the lead, and restore the public's faith in the APC. They therefore did a terrific job for the APC, and we are grateful for that.

Senator Enang continued by saying, "We look at the intellect with which they go about it, the rave and the style of their campaigns and we've used that to activate our system as well and we've been able to gain miles and kilometers in our race." Senator Enang previously questioned the Labour Party's chances of winning the election.
