Online polls that put Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate, ahead of Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have been disregarded by Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule.
Sule asserted that Obi's value as a presidential contender had been reduced to less than 10 kobo as a result of Charles Soludo's attacks of the former governor of Anambra State, Obi.
He made the claim while participating in the Politics Today program on Channels Television.
Sule asserted that the best person to explain what transpired while Peter Obi was governor of Anambra State—where he previously served—is the present governor.
Thus, if you visit Anambra, what the governor of Anambra has to say (is saying). They shared a party together. Not because they switched parties. Peter Obi switched parties, but the All Progressives Grand Alliance remains the same (APGA).
You won't buy Peter Obi for 10 kobo if you go see what he is saying about him today.
He continued, saying there was no comparing Obi and Tinubu because Tinubu had improved Lagos' economy more than Anambra State's had.
