Book On Life, Achievements Of Candido For Launch On January 26

A book on immediate past Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC and serving Mandate Secretary Transport Secretariat FCTA, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido will be launched next week Thursday, January 26 at the National Centre for Women Development, Abuja.

The book titled: “Abdullahi Adamu Candido : Service Of Distinction (Golden Footprints and Selected Speeches)”, written by a senior special assistant on media, public relations and documentation to Candido during his tenure as AMAC Chairman, Chief Dayo Lawal has been described as an engaging account of the life, struggles and achievements of Candido.  The book traces in great details Candido's background, his political journey to AMAC and his footprints as Chairman of the Area Council between 2016 to 2022.

The 150-page book written in lucid language is a beautiful collection of the landmark achievements and activities of Candido while in the office as AMAC Chairman.

According to the author and the Candido Media Organisation, who are organisers of the event, the FCT All Progressives Congress, (APC) State Chairman, Alhaji Abdulmalik Usman, will be the chairman of the event while seasoned entrepreneur and former APC Senatorial Aspirant for FCT, Pastor Adedayo Benjamin Laniyi is the Chief Launcher.

Minister of FCT, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello and Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda of FCT are expected as Special Guests and Distinguished Guest of honour respectively at the event.

Also expected are the Minister of State FCT, Dr. Ramatu Tijanni Aliyu as Mother of the day and Chairman of AMAC, Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalagu as Host

APC Senatorial Candidate for FCT, Hon. Zakari Angulu Dobi, among other dignitaries invited to the event, which will start by 11a.m.

The Minister of Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola has affirmed President Muhammadu Buhari is strongly behind All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.  Federal government has flagged off capacity building on emotional intelligence aimed at increasing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management, for improved service delivery by the rank and file of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). The commencement of the one day sensitisation workshop and capacity building by the minister of Police Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Maigari  Dingyadi took place at the Murtala Nyako Multi-purpose hall in Yola, Adamawa State.
