Onuchukwu Congratulates ALGON New Boss

The immediate past Vice Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC and member Board of Federal Capital Development Authority, FCDA, Hon. Lawrence Onuchukwu has congratulated the Executive Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Hon. Abubakar Umar Abdullahi, on his emergence as the newly appointed National Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed personal by Onuchukwu with copies made available to newsmen.

Onuchukwu said: “I wish to heartily congratulate you Abubakar Umar Abdullahi for your appointment as the national Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria, ALGON. 

“HonourabIe, your exploits as a competent, good character, commitment and capacity administrator and grassroots politician has been rewarded with this enviable position of trust.

"I am confident that with what many of us know about you as a man of goal-getter and achiever per excellence, you will take ALGON to a greater heights.

"I pray God to continue to grant you good health, wisdom and knowledge to pilot the affairs of this great association."

The Minister of Works and Housing Babatunde Fashola has affirmed President Muhammadu Buhari is strongly behind All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.  Federal government has flagged off capacity building on emotional intelligence aimed at increasing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management, for improved service delivery by the rank and file of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF). The commencement of the one day sensitisation workshop and capacity building by the minister of Police Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Maigari  Dingyadi took place at the Murtala Nyako Multi-purpose hall in Yola, Adamawa State.
