Eid-el-Kabir: NACHPN Boss Greets Muslim Faithful

The National President of National Association of Community Health Practitioners of Nigeria, NACHPN, Comrade Kabir Yahaya Ahmed    has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of this year's Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Speaking with newsmen on the occasion of Sallah in Abuja, Comrade Ahmed advised them to use the occasion in praying for a secured, prosperous and better Nigeria.

He also stressed the need for them to pray for national peace and economic development and safe return of Nigerians who are on pilgrimage to Mecca 

According to him, the task of repositioning Nigeria for greatness required the prayers and support of everyone irrespective of religion, tribe or political differences.

Comrade Ahmed used the opportunity to call on President Bola Tinubu 's led administration to give priority to the revamping of Primary Healthcare Centres nationwide towards improving the wellbeing of Nigerians most especially at the grassroots.

While expressing concern over the dilapidated condition of Primary Healthcare Centres in the country, the National President of NACHPN stressed the need for adequate funding of the Centres to enable rural dwellers have access to quality healthcare services towards reducing child and maternal mortality in rural areas.

He also emphasized the need for more budgetary allocation to the health sector towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, SDG, in the area of health.

Comrade Ahmed enjoined the present administration to equally give necessary attention to the welfare of community health practitioners in the country through provision of accomodations, improved renumeration, proper placement at point of entry like their counterparts in the health sector and promotion as at when due as well as conducive environment for them to operate through adequate security of their lives and property.

The National President of NACHPN who commended community health practitioners for their sacrifice over the years Adviser them to always be committed and dedicated to duty through prompt attention to their patients towards ameliorate their health condition noting that their efforts would not go unnoticed.

Comrade Ahmed added that NACHPN on its part would continue to maintain standard and quality service service by checking quackery and complimenting the efforts of Government at all levels towards ensuring the development of the nation's health sector

2023: FG Begins Capacity Building For Police Officers

 Federal government has flagged off capacity building on emotional intelligence aimed at increasing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management, for improved service delivery by the rank and file of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
