SGF: Onuchukwu Congratulates Akume

The Director General of Senator Abdullahi Adamu for APC 2022 National Chairmanship Campaign Organisation, Hon. Lawrence Onuchukwu, has issued a Congratulatory message to Senator George Akume over his new appointment as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a release personally signed by Onuchukwu and made available to the newsmen in Abuja, said that Akume's appointment was a well deserved one which he succinctly described as a round peg in a round hole.

He said going by Senator Akume's antecedent as a seasoned and avowed public administrator, the nation would benefit immensely from his wealth of experience and it would, no doubt, help the new administration to make a difference.

Onuchukwu, who noted Akume's service  that had long transversed through many public offices in the past, first as local government administrator to state Governor, Senator, Senate minority leader and lastly Minister of the Federal Republic, said he was confident that Akume would be an asset for the Tinubu's popular renewed hope Manstra. 

Onuchukwu who is a leader of FCT APC South East Forum, however, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for offering this appointment on Senator Akume and for other appointments made so far since his assumption of office in the last one week.

He said with these new set of appointments, this has shown clearly that the president has started on a good note and really on cause to perform well as his administration moves on. He therefore urged him to continue to bring on board credible, competent and experienced men and women to serve the nation at this time.

Onuchukwu therefore, prayed for God's guidance to enable Senator Akume to perform his duties deligiently and successfully to the nation.

2023: FG Begins Capacity Building For Police Officers

 Federal government has flagged off capacity building on emotional intelligence aimed at increasing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management, for improved service delivery by the rank and file of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
