The newly debuted Abuja based weekly newsmagazine, The Jagaban has said that Mallam Jibreel Muhammad Babangoshi has been engaged to write for the fast growing newsmagazine as its Senior Contributing Writer.
In a statement issued on Saturday by the publisher/editor-in-chief of the media outfit, Chief Dayo Lawal disclosed that Babangoshi, would join other experienced and seasoned journalists on board to display his writing prowess and skill to report happenings in the political and socio-economic life of the country..
Babangoshi, a prolific writer was educated at Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa where he obtained his National Diploma in Business Administration and Management. He later obtained Diploma in Computer Studies at Zaihal Business School, Karu. To fulfil his much-desired interest to belong to a body of pen profession, he proceeded to International Institute of Journalism, Abuja to read Journalism and graduated with a Higher Diploma in Journalism.
Babangoshi, a chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT was the party's pioneer Ward Chairman in Karu ward and later resigned voluntarily. Upon his party, APC winning the AMAC Chairmanship seat in 2016, he was first appointed as Special Adviser on Job Creation, Skills Acquisition and Youth Employment in AMAC and later redeployed in a minor cabinet reshuffle as the Special Adviser on Media and ICT to the Council Chairman and finally made the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman of AMAC.
