The Jagaban Newsmagazine Is Out tomorrow Wednesday

A weekly publication, The Jagaban newsmagazine will make its maiden debut on Wednesday July 12, 2023.  The newsmagazine's publisher/editor-in-chief, Chief Dayo Lawal, said today in a statement.

He said the move is in line with the vision of its publishing outfit, MainAnchor Ventures to provide a veritable news platform that will report happenings in and around Nigeria in an in-depth investigative and topical style devoid of sensation and bias in all areas of its economy, social and political life with experienced and seasoned journalists managing the publication.

"It's interesting to inform you all that the debut of our newsmagazine, The Jagaban newsmagazine did not come easy, but as a result of teamwork and painstaking pursuit to join the media industry to contribute our quota to the effective dissemination of information and stand up for good governance in the country.

"For the esteemed honour and credibility of the nation's leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we decided to christine this newsmagazine with one of his revered chieftancy titles of Jagaban to signal how credible and authoritative this newsmagazine is designed to be as it hits the newsstands nationwide.

"We promise that this our newsmagazine will become a widely read national news magazine that will serve its audiences  timely information in line with the media principles of truth, objectivity and fairness in a way to contribute towards the great task of building a better and egalitarian nation where free press and democracy thrive.”

 Federal government has flagged off capacity building on emotional intelligence aimed at increasing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management, for improved service delivery by the rank and file of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
