'It is Your Turn Now' - Hausa/Fulani Leaders Endorse Halidu Garki's Chairmanship Bid

The leadership of Hausa/Fulani has endorsed the chairmanship bid of Hon. Halidu Adamu Garki, former AMAC Council Secretary.

The leaders expressed their support  for Halidu Garki during an interactive session on Tuesday in Abuja.

Speaking on behalf of the leaders, the Chairman of the association, Alhaji Sunusi Zubairu Galadimawa said Halidu Garki has vast experiences in the politics of the Area Councils and has served it well in various positions and it is time for him to be considered as the next Council Chairman.

"You are one of the founding fathers of the association, you deserved our loyalty and support as you have served this association in various capacity to it present position today," he said

While explaining the electoral strength of the association, he said the Hausa/Fulani group has remains the party, APC 's stronghold for winning elections for it since 2015.  

Galadima, who is also the Sarki Hausawa Galadimawa, therefore, urged members  in the Area Councils to work towards his victory at the forthcoming party primary election.

Also addressing the meeting another royal father, Alhaji Musa Dala, the Sarki Hausawa Nyanya declared that the leaders have chosen Halidu Garki as a worthy candidate for the AMAC chairmanship election based on his capacity,competence and ability to lead effectively.

He, then expressed confidence that the people of AMAC would vote for Halidu in view of his past record of success as the Council Secretary.

 Federal government has flagged off capacity building on emotional intelligence aimed at increasing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management, for improved service delivery by the rank and file of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).
